Spicy Tomato Salsa



A quick and easy four ingredient recipe, this spicy tomato salsa doesn’t compromise on taste.

Simple and delicious, try serving this quick salsa with chips, on vegetables or dress your favorite salad. See the quick serving ideas below for this easy and flavorful salsa.



Yield: Approximately 2 cups





You will need 4 ingredients:

- Tomatoes
- Red Onion
- Capers
- Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients:

tomatoes – 1 1/2 cups diced

red onions – 1 cup diced

capers – 1/4 cup

balsamic vinegar – 1 tbsp

In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and toss well.

Note: Allow salsa to marinate for a half and hour minimum.

Easy Salsa Servings Suggestions for Quick Meals:

Sandwich Topper:

Spicy Tuna Salsa Sandwich


Whole grain bread             Toast bread slices (2) for
 2-4 slices                   open-face sandwich or (4) for
                              closed sandwich.  Drain tuna
1 (6oz) can of tuna           and divide over the bread slices.
 in water - drained       
                              Top each sandwich with  tomato
Goat Cheese                   salsa and crumbled goat cheese.
                              Serve with your favorite chips.
                                                 Serves 2-4

Grilled Vegetables:

** Serve this quick salsa as a sauce to spice up grilled vegetables.

Snack Idea:

** Serve salsa as a dip with breadsticks or tortilla chips or with cheese cubes skewered on toothpicks.
