Salsa Recipe




This Simple Fruit Salsa Recipe is made with sweet pineapple and crisp apples combined with cilantro, honey and lime juice for a fast and flavorful salsa.

This easy recipe will enhance seafood dishes, grain dishes and so much more. Use the easy serving suggestions below for ideas on adding this quick salsa to your meals.



Yield:
Approximately 1 to 1-1/2 cups





You will need 5 ingredients:

- Canned Crushed Pineapple
- Apples
- Fresh Cilantro
- Honey
- Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

Ingredients:

canned crushed pineapple – 1 cup – drained

apple – (1) medium cut into small dice
(choose any variety you like)

fresh cilantro – 2 tbsp finely chopped

honey – 1 tbsp

fresh squeezed lime juice – 1 tbsp

In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and toss well.

Note: Allow salsa to marinate for a few hours before using, tossing occasionally.
