Salsa Verde Recipe
Our Salsa Verde Recipe is made with tomatillos, garlic, fresh cilantro, jalapeno peppers and fresh squeezed lime juice. With just a few ingredients and minimal preparation you will have a great tasting quick salsa in minutes.

Yield: Approximately 1 cup
You will need 5 ingredients:
- Fresh Tomatillos
- Fresh Garlic
- Fresh Cilantro
- Fresh, Canned or Jarred Jalapeno Peppers
- Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

Ingredients:
1/2 lb of fresh tomatillos (Mexican green tomato) (remove husk, rinse and chop)
fresh garlic – 2 cloves finely chopped
fresh cilantro – 1 cup finely chopped or to taste
fresh, canned or jarred jalapeno slices – 1/2 to 1 tbsp chopped (remove ribs and seeds to reduce heat if desired)
fresh squeezed lime juice – 1 tbsp or to taste

1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and toss well.
2. Taste and adjust cilantro and lime juice to taste.
Note: Allow salsa to marinate in the refrigerator for several hours, tossing occasionally.
