A four ingredient ham salad sandwich recipe that couldn't be easier.
Minimal preparation and great taste make a quick salad recipe you will come back to all the time.

You will need 4 ingredients:

- Cooked Ham
- Celery
- Water Chestnuts
- Mayonnnaise



Make Ahead for this Salad:

- If cooking your ham, prepare
as you desire and dice up 2 cups

Ingredients:

cooked ham (off the bone or slices) - 2 cups small dice

celery - 1 cup small dice

water chestnuts - 3/4 cup (cut each piece in half)

* mayonnaise - 3/4 cup or to desired moistness


*Reduce the Fat: Use a low-fat or nonfat mayonnaise.

** Another easy way to serve our ham salad, is scooped into an avocado half with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese over the top and soft Italian breadsticks on the side.

** Try serving this quick ham salad on a bed of watercress with whole grain crackers on the side.

Simply scoop the ham salad into bibb leaf lettuce leaves (these work especially well because of their shape and soft structure) and, if desired, top with Swiss or Gouda cheese slices and fresh sprouts. *Hard Cooked Egg - 1 to 2 diced or
*Green or Red Grapes - 1/2 cup (cut each grape in half) or
*Peas - 1/2 cup or
*Dill or Sweet Pickles - 1/2 cup chopped or
*Jalapeno Peppers - 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped (as desired)
