Frozen Sorbet Dressing:
This salad dressing recipe is about the easiest of dressings to have on hand. Sorbet comes in so many rich flavors these days that you are limited only by your own imagination.
Great as a fresh fruit salad dressing or the perfect topping for the simplest of green salads, it’s always refreshing and good.
Yield: 1/2 cup (enough for one good sized salad)
You will need 1 ingredient:
- Frozen Sorbet (your favorite flavor)

Ingredients:
frozen sorbet – start with 1/2 cup (choose your favorite flavor or combination of flavors – orange, pineapple and raspberry are good choices)

1. Scoop sorbet into a small mixing bowl and allow to soften a little.
2. With a spoon, mix the softened sorbet until it is the consistency of a thick frosting.
3. Serve over salad immediately.

*For added taste and creaminess, add a little plain, vanilla or greek style yogurt into the sorbet and spoon onto the salad. You could even choose the same flavor yogurt as your sorbet and mix them together for a really rich fruit flavored dressing.
*Whether you choose a fruit salad or a vegetable salad, you can dress up this topping with sliced almonds or your favorite nuts or even sliced fruit to suit your taste.
It’s a great no work dressing that’s perfect every time.

** Serve this easy salad dressing with cut up strawberries and blueberries. Choose a berry flavored sorbet and mix the dressing with the fruit, sprinkle on some chopped almonds and serve with cinnamon graham crackers on the side. This also makes a great light dessert.
