You will need 4 ingredients:
- Fresh Mozzarella Cheese - Tomatoes - Fresh Basil - Olive Oil

Ingredients:
fresh mozzarella cheese 8 oz cut into 1/4" slices
tomatoes 2 large tomatoes cut into 1/4" slices
fresh basil leaves 1 cup washed and dried
olive oil as desired
Optional Ingredients:
capers as desired
red wine vinegar as desired

This is a very easy salad recipe to prepare. It incorporates the colors of the flag of Italy and is basically a layered salad that forms a circle on the serving plate. It has great visual appeal and is as delicious as it looks.
1. For each serving plate, alternate a slice of mozzarella with a slice of tomato and then one or two basil leaves. Continue until you complete a circle on each plate.
2. Drizzle olive oil over each salad as desired and salt and pepper to taste.
3. If you are using the optional ingredients, simply sprinkle as many capers as you like over each salad and drizzle on the red wine vinegar.
